About Leigh
Born and raised in Fort Walton Beach, I am deeply rooted in this community. I left the area while attending the University of South Alabama, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences, and a Master’s degree in Therapeutic Recreation. My gift and true passion is working with the elderly. As a recreation specialist, I truly enjoy making days a little happier for those I have the pleasure of working with. I am dedicated to providing a fun social environment and meaningful activities that give our members reason get up in the morning and come and see us. Regardless of age or infirmity, quality of life is important.
About Lorna
As center manager and a certified nursing assistant, Lorna Lindberg brings 26 years experience to Daybreak Senior Services. Her never ending enthusiasm, warm heart, and attention to detail are what makes her such and asset to our program. Lorna states that “she treats everyone just like she would treat her own parents”. Lorna has previously worked in long term care and assisted living settings and is finding great enjoyment in the Adult Day Services environment which gives our members the opportunity to maintain independence in their own homes. Lorna brings a cheerful spirit to Daybreak in which all of the members look forward to each day.
